My First Task Rule of Thirds

For my first task of my DofE skills section of Photography my assessor gave me the challenge to see what I could do with the task 'Rule of Thirds' so I went out to Bushy Park and took a couple of Photos to represent the task. I took these photos on my I Pod Touch 5th Generation.
This Picture was taken then edited to look brighter than it actually was with filters

This picture was taken but I haven't edited just to show how miserable the day was and the task at hand which was the rule of thirds

The rule of thirds is a technique used when you want to show a large area. So this is where you put the main object in the corner or to the side of the picture and then show the rest of the picture with a lot of space and vastness. In this technique you usually use the Grid to guide you to the side of the picture or to the corner. Here is one from the internet showing the tree to the side of the picture and the vast mountains stretching further out.
